If your wardrobe is anything like mine, you’ve got too little space for too many clothes. Here’s a nifty trick to double the hanging room in your closet.
Collect some aluminium tabs from any tin cans you use – fizzy drinks, baked beans, tinned tomatoes, etc. Use it to connect two hangers together, as in my photos below, instantly doubling your hanging space.
Here’s another hanger trick. Blouses with very wide necklines, camisoles and clothes made from silky materials. What do they all have in common?
They all pool in a heap at the bottom of your wardrobe, refusing to stay put on your hangers!
Wind some rubber bands at both ends of a hanger. The bands will stop your clothing from slipping down.
So tell me, what’s the state of your wardrobe – organised and colour co-ordinated or overflowing and over-crowded? Do you tend to wear the same outfits time and time again? Do you hang on to clothes you know you will never wear?
